Whenever a customer chooses Five Star Home Services (whether it’s for their air conditioning, heating, plumbing, or electrical needs), they aren’t just getting high-quality products and services at competitive prices.
When someone chooses us, they’re also giving back!!!
As a proud Profit On Purpose company, a portion of our profits go directly back into the communities we serve via the charitable organizations and good causes we support.
This week, we’d like to feature one of those fantastic causes so near and dear to our hearts.
Serving dozens of men throughout Ohio who are recovering from substance use disorder, Emerge Recovery & Trade Initiative is the first treatment center of its kind in the world. This nonprofit was co-founded by Five Star’s own Kip Morris and Chris Adams, in addition to Doug Van Dyke of Van Martin Roofing.
Last week, we sat down with Nathan Crago, the clinical director at Emerge, and Elaine Bonner, the director of philanthropy. Be sure to check out what they had to say about Emerge, which now has two locations.
In addition to those interviews we conducted at Emerge’s main campus on West Enon Road, we also caught up with two other Emerge staffers at the organization’s other dormitory in Yellow Springs.
Located at the former Antioch College campus, Emerge Springs now houses 40 men in early recovery who are actively rebuilding their lives.
We spoke with staff members Jake Shelley and John Babb, who shared why they love Emerge and the organization’s ripple effect in the community.
Be sure to check out those interviews as well, and stay tuned with us as we bring you more Profit On Purpose content highlighting how we at Five Star Home Services are firm believers in giving back, helping those in need, and sowing good seeds!
